Hi All, I'm looking for some guidance on a 'best practices' approach to testing new GPO (ADMX) templates in an environment that uses a central store. Reason for this question is that the article below mentions changes that occur between Windows versions. We are hoping to avoid any surprises by testing the new templates against the existing GPOs before going through the change control process to update the central store. Known issues managing a Windows 10 Group Policy client in Windows Server 2012 R2 We have a customer that is going to be moving to Windows 10 (build 1703) and we would like to test the new templates against their existing GPOs to check for any conflicts. I was thinking that if a PC(s) could be made to point at a local folder as its central store and then the new GPO Templates placed there testing could be carried out. I have found a few articles talking about hose this could be achieved but none of them have proven to be effective so far.
